I’m planning on doing a “STARSHIP TROOPERS” painting, and this is obviously the sketch for the mech that they use to….um…be Starship troopers. Having to deal with various combatants on different worlds that have hostile and poisonous environments would is the reason behind the suit. Of course Master Shake always says that “The reason for the season is pleasing…ME!!” So I guess this painting will probably only please me. LOL :D

I have always had an idea of what the actual mech looked like in my head when I read the book, but now I think I have really got it down with this sketch. I really got into this sketch. I made a refrence to the "RODGER YOUNG" which is one of the ships in the book where the suits would be deployed from orbit. I also made the company that made the power plant "Shipstone industries" which is an refrence to another Heinlein book "FRIDAY". I know...I'm a dork. :D

Anyhow it should be a fun one and I am looking forward to starting it in a couple of weeks. In an perfect world I would be hired to create a manga that followed the book to a “t “ and get to design all of the characters, technologies, worlds, and aliens. Someday maybe…..

This mech is my rendition of the Starship trooper suit from Robert A. Heinlein novel "STARSHIP TROOPERS"

Did you guys know that they're going to do a remake of Starship Troopers AND an anime of it? I even saw an official design sketch of the power suit on a website. The anime is titled Starship Troopers Invasion. Oh, and that drawing you did was awesome. XD

And another thing!!! Why did they dumb down the freaking Arachnids. The book said they had intersteller travel, beam weaponry and were very intelligent. These bugs in the movie were using only there mandibles and other appendages. Stupid characters, stupid plot and stupid PG-13 rating. I would be a happy man if somebody will make a actual movie version of the actual book. Like a lord of the rings trilogy sort of thing.

Yeah. I don't know why somebody would want to make a film that completely goes off the established story or franchise. Pussies is what they are.
